This thing is nothing special. It does its job. It fits tight, looks good, and totally encases my iPad 2; thus protecting it from any accidental encounters with otherwise harmfull situations. I also bought a Toblino 2 for my wife's ipad 2. I think that the Toblino is overall a better product for me.
The CEO Hybrid 2 is heavier and thicker. Also, the CEO Hybrid has two points at which the top flap secures itself to the iPad to keep it from accidentally opening; aposed to the Toblino's 1. Opening the Toblino is definately a quicker, easier and smoother process. But the CEO Hybrid's front flap is definately more secure.
The two clips that secure the left side of the iPad (the ones you disengage to convert the case into a stand) are VERY secure...it takes some force to pop the left corners of the ipad out of these two clips. My wife had trouble doing it.
One of the main reasons I wanted the CEO Hybrid was because of the unique hand strap that is on the inside of the front flap. It's supposed to make holding your iPad with one had more secure. However, I found that the placement/orientation of this strap made it useless. It needs to be angled for a more natural feel. Also, when holding the it while using the strap, the iPad tends to sag (the only thing really supporting the iPad is the "hinge" between the front and back of the case). A button, magnet, strip of velcro, or a band of some kind to secure the front flap to the back of the case when folded back would greatly increase the stubility of the product and potentially increase it's longevity.
It is very "broken in". All the "hinges" bend really easily, which is nice. When in stand mode, the iPad is very secure. The channels are deep enought that the iPad doesnt slide out of the various positions. However, it also looks broken in. While all the cutouts and holes for access to the iPad are dead on, there is an overall sloppiness to the look. Maybe if I didn't have anything to compare it to, I would think it looks great; but, I think the Toblino is by far a more elegant looking product.
But, I will say that this thing feels like a tank. Anyone who needs REAL protection and still want this style of case, should definately get this. It blows the Toblino away in terms of being a proctector. I treat my iPad VERY well and thus, I don't require a tremendous amount of protection. For me, the CEO Hybrid is overkill.
Also, I paid $50 buying it from Mareware directly. OUCH! As I am writing this, you can get it on Amazon for half that. I will be returning this and purchasing a 2nd Toblino 2 from Amazon.

I recieved my Marware CEO Hybrid case today and I was impressed immediatly upon opening the box. The material is a rich texture that is soft but solid. It catches the light just right to give the ipad a nice profesional look. The ipad fits snugly into the case and does not feel like it will come loose. It sets up to all of the same angles as the original ipad 1 case and holds its position well enough to be able to type rapidly. The nice part about this case vs many others is the way the outer rim is left exposed yet still protected afer inserting it into the 6 holders. It leaves more of the ipad exposed giving it an expansive feel when typing or veiwing.
